Not sure if they qualify as precision rifles but I am looking to purchase one or the other. The Sendero is in 300wm and the LTR is in .308. From your experiences, which one would be your choice for long range hunting with no mods. made to either rifle? I am hoping that some of you have had and shot both for some real comments. I look at long range hunting at max 500 Yards. Any input would be appreciated.

I have a Sendaro in 7 RM for that exact purpose. It has been bedded and a brake put on. As far as precision it doesn't stand up to my customs but it is definitely capable of hunting to well beyond 500M. It took a bit to find a load it liked but it definitely shoots! I have no experience with the LTR.

I have the exact thing that has been bedded and braked. The trigger has also been tuned a bit. Shoots the 168 berger's very well.
