Is it lawful to send the bullet and case to the Forster factory in the USA? Anyone here done this?

They will custom polish a seating stem for your particular bullet profile but they require 4 bullets and 4 cases to be sent to them. I tried polishing the stem myself but I have only made it worse.

I’m trying to seat 69 gr. SMKs on a compressed load in .223 and am getting a noticeable ring on the ogive. On some bullets I can feel the indentation with my thumbnail.

I know you can send the brass to the USA. I have done it many times to make crimp die etc.
Do Not expect to get them back though. Most companies will not send them back to Canada.

Bullets ...I am not sure. If they are bundled up so they don't rattle around and not looking like a full round to an xray, it should be fine.
If I did send bullets there in the past, it before the great uproars that we deal with now.

BTW, you can usually get other bullet seater shapes to fit bullets such as long target types or flat nose, etc.

I’ll send them an email tomorrow to see if they’ll even ship to Canada. The website says they’ll ship only Within USA so I may be sol.
