Sending my SKS out for custom engraving

sks and quality ??????

i have yet to see one with a straight barrel , never mind the soft steel they are made from and the shot gun like grouping they make .

they are a cheaply made gun , made to be turned quickly and in large quantities designed to be fired by people who know nothing more than the pointy end is the dangerous end .

Truer words were never spoken, so why the attraction to the sks, and why do we buy them, and bulk ammo by the thousand crate?... Have we all gone mad?... I dont think so.

I like accurate rifles, but for some reason I have two Russian sks's, and Its probably the let er rip factor and how big was that grouping? woww, I'll have to try it again:)... that attracts me to it.:ar15:

Yeah, ok.
My '52 consistently groups at around 3 inches at 100 metres with iron sights, my aging eyes, and Prvi ammo. But, I must have a flukey SKS, or I'm lying. 3.5 crates later and my rifling still looks new... must have been lucky with that soft steel barrel.

Ignore the trolls, Kurgan. Let him and his think what they want, more rifles for us. I don't think people have bought 10's of thousands of them because they are junk.

Soft steel blunted my HSS bits like that? Huh. I must have a fluky scoped chicom sks, it will group about 1.5-2 inches at 100 yards. So so fluky the SKS rifle.

Really???I own 3 SKS and the barrels look fine to me and they all get 3-5 inch groupings at 100 yards with open sights.....not sure where your getting your info from but the SKS is a fine Rifle in my opinion.
