Could anyone tell me what year of production a Colt Python with a serial number of T616XX would be?

That sequence looks like 1983-84

Python serial numbers

Production year 1984 started at T27541 and year 1985 started at T34453. My book stops at 1985 so mid 1980s is a reasonable estimate as time of manufacture.
