Serial number info: Iver Johnson Old Hickory

Does anyone have date of manufacture info for Iver Johnson Old Hickory revolvers? I found one in 32RF but apparently they were sold into the 1920s.

From what I've read about Iver Johnson revolvers the "serial" number is more of a batch number, after 9999 they started at zero again so they can't be dated by the number. There are other ways to identify certain models, do a search on google there are 1 or 2 experts that posted a lot of info, I think its on thefirearmsforum.com.

As I recall, IJ S/N info is long gone. If there even were such records.
