Hi Guys

I have ordered from you guys before and had no issues. But apparently my instruction on the shipping was half followed.

ORDER Details

"Can you please not ship this until Jun 8th. I am on Vacation until 9th and I don't want this to be sitting with reception in my apartment building. Please make sure there is no Identifying marks on the boxes on what the contents may be."

I guess The part "Please make sure there is no Identifying marks on the boxes on what the contents may be." Except on the Side of the BOX it says Ammunition somehow escaped you guys and now I possibly have everyone in my apartment building know I have Ammunition and possibly Firearms in my apartment. I am now expecting the RCMP or Swat show up on my door step.
 
Maybe you should be saving your money to move out of that apartment before spending it on ammunition and bad-mouthing a good company.
 
ammunation is a type of explosive, thus has to be marked for identification for shipping company's, special handling, whims and emergency reasons. though they could have held off on shipping it for a few days. least you got quick delivery happening for you.

You should definitely expect swat to kick down your door anytime now :rolleyes:.

As to the instructions not being followed. Maybe the box had to be identified properly to comply with some type of dangerous goods shipping regulation?
 
To ship ammo legally, you have to have the box marked according to the explosives act. This applies to my knowledge both to private, and commercial sells. Basically you asked CA to break the law and risk their business. I think they could have advised you that it is illegal to ship ammo unmarked before sending. Other than that there was not much else they could have done except returned your money.

I feel you pain. I'm apartment bound as well. I had Canada post leave a pistol outside my door once. The thing was clearly marked. Luckily when I got home it was still there. Not the companies fault but CP. I called and raised hell with Canada Post. I also go to some pains to keep my neighbours in the dark as to my hobby. I doesn't matter how high class the place may be, once tongues start wagging you never know.

I don't live in a apartment. But I try to keep my hobbies out of sight from nosey neighbours.. There is no upside to showing firearms to the uneduacated public.. I either load in the garage or around the back door.
