Seriously unimpressed with PX-4

9mm-Suppository, have you shot Glocks with 3 1/2# triggers? If so, what is your opinion? Regards, Richard :)

My bad I had meant to type 3.5 not 5.5 above. Yes, I bought i a few days after getting my glock...its the only reason I kept it. It still needs to be better, they need to get a nice metal trigger with a crisp clean break and I'll be happy.

 I was literally going to go buy one of these next week (money sitting in my drawer) I wanted to buy a CX4 as well and thought it would be nice to have interchangable mags. The feed ramp is something I wouldn't have caught (still relatively new to the game)

Thanks!!

Am I alone or is it common knowledge that reviews in magazines are bought and paid for by the manufacturer. Talking sh*t about brand X when they purchase thousands of dollars worth of advertising space in your magazine is bad business. The goal of the magazine is to sell copies not guns. Rag sheet reviews are crap, mildly entertaining at best. As for Beretta's poor products there's no surprise there either. Sorry you spent your hard earned cash on this POS.

Not all magazines publish junk reviews. Our policy at Canadian Shooting Sports Magazine is "is we review a product and if it is no good, we return it to the distributor or manufacturer and do not publish" Therefore, while all of our reviews are positive, they are only products that passed the reviewing tests.

I currently have PX4 Canadian Edition #11/500 in my possession and the reviewing process has begun. I share your concerns about the little piece of feed ramp that is exposed plastic but the shooting part of the review has yet to be conducted so we haven't seen how it stands up. Lockup is tighter than a drum with virtually no play in the barrel when the slide is in battery. Ergonomics are excellent and while the luminescent sights are a gimmic, the conventional sight picture is excellent. More to come in the summer issue of the magazine.

sorry but glock triggers are shyt too...its a f**king joke why they havent come out with a decent trigger on any of their models yet. Sure the 3.5lb trigger helps but its still garbage. If glock had an HK type trigger it would easily be my fave and likewise if HK's bore axis was as low as the glocks, IT would be my fave. They are still unbelievably great and a light pistols which is why my 226 doesnt get out much and is up for trade, but it would be so easy to make em 10x better.

The only thing missing from a stock Glock, is an operator with some talent..
