I finally got around to compiling who is coming to Saturday's match at Langemark Range, Base Borden, ON.

All you black rifle CQB'ers ready to go? Hopefully you sent me a PM or email confirming your attendance for the fun (hey, we always have fun) :D

I just completed my target preparation on the fig 11's for the scoring phase of the match. And yes, we will have a walk-through, talk-through.

The weather is cooperating. Plink is doing statistics and kshumac will chime in here soon. What a wonderful crew I have to work with ! Life does not get better.

See ya on Sat AM at 0700 to 0730 for registration. Yes we will have some casual zeroing. I'm planning on carrying out the range safety briefing and squadding for 0830ish to 0900. You all know how fast we move through the matches.

And yes Bill our favorite cook will be there for us as usual! :)

man sounds like fun, I'm in Pickering but don't have the proper equipment for something like this yet!
 
My brother and I will be there in full force... finally got a front sight on my 1911 so I have no excuse for missing the target anymore.

Look forward to a good shoot, stats and the gestapo range cleanup :)
 
valmet762, next time. That would be awesome, now I have no excuse not to get out. Gotta keep up on these so I can get my ATT for it.

Is the "ALL RESTRICTED RANGES APPROVED BY THE CFO-ONTARIO" ATT good for Borden or do we need something special? And if so, how do we get it?

I don't think Military ranges are approved by CFO Ontario and require an ATT specifying CFB Borden. Non restricted weapons are no problem provided that the proper reservations and approvals with Borden Range Control have been obtained.

ATT for DND ranges are a CFO Orillia issued proposition after you obtain a letter of invite from ME! :D

The procedure is ... you EMT me the $$ for you Non ORA members (ORA Member already have an ATT for the DND Ranges like Borden and Connaught). Once I get the payment, then I send you the letter of invite for this particular match, you fax it off to the CFO Orillia folks and then grant you an ATT for temporary purposes to Base Borden's Langemark Range (in this case).

Anyways, those who are attending have sorted this situation out weeks ago. :rolleyes:

Next October we have another CQB match...
