Can I use my Colt Govt Model 45 in the service pistol match? Fixed sights, no porting or compensator?I only have 4 mags for my P7 (9mm) and the match sheet says you need 5 mags.

FIREARMS ELIGIBILITY
1. BCRA and visiting out of Province individuals or teams:
a) Service Pistol - any pistol in any calibre with any sight that meets range regulations.
TRIGGERS
1. Trigger Pull - BCRA Service Pistol
a) Service Pistol shall not be less than 2.272 kg.
SIGHTS
1. Open metal sights may be blackened or whitened but may not be coloured
PISTOL HANDLING
a) LOADED: the pistol is loaded when it holds a magazine containing rounds in it, there is no round in the chamber and the hammer is not cocked.
b) READY: the pistol is ready when it has a magazine containing rounds in it, there is a round in the chamber and the hammer is cocked.
ALTERATIONS
a) Firearms must be in a safe to use state.
b) There will be no alteration in the design of safety or trigger mechanisms. This does not preclude operations performed on components (i.e. polishing) to improve their fit and functioning.
NEGLIGENT DISCHARGE
A negligent discharge is defined as any round fired accidentally, unless it is fired at or in the direction of the target after the order “Watch and Shoot”has been given and before the order “Unload” has been given. If the circumstances are such that the negligent discharge was due to any dangerous practice, for example careless handling, or as the result of an unsafe firearm, the competitor will be reported to the Match Committee. In the event of a negligent discharge, the competitor could be disqualified from the match and further disciplinary action may be taken.

AMMUNITION
BCRA competitors must supply their own ammunition for all competitions. This ammunition must be suitable for the firearm in use and must be safe and legal for use on the range.

BRITISH COLUMBIA RIFLE ASSOCIATION
SERVICE PISTOL CHAMPIONSHIP

1. The BCRA Service Pistol Championship competitors must use their own pistols. Minimum of five magazines required.
2. Competitors may re-shoot one or more times providing the appropriate entry fees are paid. The first entry and shoot will be used to determine match and aggregate placing.
3. All matches must be fired with the two hand hold in each match.
4. All matches will begin from the Standing Alert Position with handgun at 45 degree position.
