Hoping I can get some help with evaluating a couple revolvers from an estate buy. I may keep the colt as I have lots of 38 special but only a single box of 38sw.
Colt Police 38 heavy barrel.
Smith and Wesson Service Revolver. 38/200. 38sw. Canadian National Express and Canadian broad arrow marked.
Both seem to be mechanically sound with good bores.
Thanks for any help.

I think I paid 425 shipped for my Canadian marked smith like yours (mine is pre victory so its a military and police). Its in pretty good shape too. Buy a single stage press and dies and reload for 38/200. Its one of my favorite cartridges. I only load 145 grainers for it though so far.

Cool looking old revolvers there.

According to Milsurp.com , Over 571,629 Smith & Wesson .38 Victory revolvers supplied to the British Commonwealth between Oct 1941 to May 1945 , with some 45,328 going to equip Canadian forces , and 384,000 to Britain, the Smith & Wesson was more popular than the Brit Webley and Enfield revolver, especially the double action only Enfield with the awful double action only trigger
