Hey everyone, I'll be moving to Saskatchewan next year for work. Are there any SR competitions that are being run there? I did quite a few ORA SR competitions and would like to keep shooting in SK. On a related note, are there any ranges that one recommends in the Moose Jaw/Regina area where one can shoot pistols, rifles, and shotguns?

Cheers!

Not sure for a range in Moose Jaw, but I know of 2 ranges around Regina, fish and game at Condie, north west of Regina and Regina Wildlife range east of Regina by Pilot Butte. I was a member for years at the Regina Wildlife range for years while I lived in Regina

Can't assist with the SR question, but as far as pistol rifle and shotgun, contact prairie gun traders in Avonlea. They have a range just outside town. Welcome to the prairies.

There was a bit of talk about service rifle at the dundurn range. It's about 1/2 way between regina and saskatoon. Oddly enough I think most of the ranges are too short to have them. There is some cqb at the wildlife range at pilot butte. Check out the sask prov rifle assoc (spra) website for more info.

I would recommend the Regina Fish and Game League range at condie. It's the best outfitted range in this area for what you want to shoot. Roof over the firing line, 15yd pistol bays, trap house, archery range.

We don't do much for action sports or service rifle but that could easily change with more people like yourself in the club. Range officers are currently allowed to move the firing line up to the berm temporarily for this type of shooting.
