Looking to get into service rifle, I normally do tac rifle and 3 gun (100m and less).
So I need/want and optic with magnification for my AR-15 and Swiss Arms Black Special (I found it after swimming in the lake next to my boat wreck).
I have owned an Elcan Spectre DR 1-4x , and thought it was pretty cool but for the price I wasn't blown away.
I have been looking at several optics all 1-x power (I assume this is a good start).
Vortex PST 1-4x
Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x ? Just heard about it
Trijicon Accupoint 1-4x (Reticle choice lacking? BDC? )
Sightron 1-7x (narrow field of view but lots of zoom, also might be too long ?)
Elcan Spectre (a lot of money for only 4x but I'll buy it again if you convince me)
Trijicon VCOG (very expensive, I would have to budget/save , not buy other guns for a while).
I've tried to do as much research as possible but I have limited knowledge of service rifle. Please let me know your thoughts, there is no budget, but if I spend a lot on an optic then I won't be buying that Ruger Precision rifle or Tavor )
