servicing a WWII German scope

We are fortunate to still have a few old timers who can service enfield and garand scopes. But is there anyone in the know who can service a German scope?
 
I have used Robert Spielauer in Ausrtia for my two scopes. One was a cad Khales sniper scope and the other a Hensold 4x.

Wooooooooooooo.....hold that thought, have you checked with these old timers? And are these old timers in Canada?

You don't want to screw up a good scope and it pays to have the right person work on it.
 
Nope my one old guy is in England and all he does is No32 he was a good guy dont ya know the other character is in the states and once again all he does is US scopes, so am looking for some one reputable in Europe to do the German thing.
 
Robert can get the parts from cannibalized scopes if need be. If it is just a cleaning and new posts/cross hairs etc. I can recommend a chap in the UK who is fast and knows his caca. A lot of the British and German grub screws are the same thread so if one is buggered they can be replaced by the chap in the UK. Lenses, unless they are badly gouged/scratched can be reworked and re-polished. If you can feel the scratch with your fingernail it is too deep and you are looking at a big job. Spider webs (separation) in the lenses can be easily repaired Drop me a private email and let me know what is the problem.
