Setting Browning BLR trigger pull

I did a search but am unable to find info on setting my trigger pull on my BLR. Trigger pull seems to be around 8 lbs! Would like to adjust it to around a crisp 3 lbs.

Do I need to take it to a gunsmith to properly adjust the trigger?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

There are no adjustments to be made. The sears and/or springs must be worked over. Not an easy job for anyone.

I made a few calls today and discovered that it isn't a very easy job to complete as you state in your reply. I had no idea that the BLR's are so difficult to adjust. Oh well. It really is a beautiful firearm just the same.
