Due to reasons beyond my control (no range beyond maybe 200 yards within a 5 hour drive), I have been seriously toying with the thought of selling my BR setup. My big problem is, I really don't know what it is worth.
I know it isn't anything overly special, however it is a decent gun. It is a Sako L579 single shot action, hooked up to a Schneider heavy barrel with a 1:7.5 twist, chambered in 6mmBR, target crown done by ATR. The trigger is a Canjar set trigger.
The entire thing is in a basic bench rest hardwood stock & has been bedded by Rick at ATR. It is topped off with a NightForce 8-32 BR scope in optilock rings and bases.
I also have Reddings dies and 200 pieces of once fired Lapua brass that might as well go with it. The rifle has 200 rounds through it by me, no more than 500 rounds total since being built.
Makes me sad to think about selling it. However it really is overkill for the 100 meter range that is within driving distance.
Any thoughts on what would be a fair value for the setup? It currently has a diamond plate aluminum case that keeps it safe as well which I would prefer to use to ship the rifle to it's new home.
Thanks for any and all advise on this one folks!
