Since we're on the subject, how do people clean their SVT-40 after running corrosive ammo? I completely dissemble the rifle except I leave the bolt intact and run hot water through the barrel and gas system before I do a normal cleaning. Do I have to take the gas port off or will running a pipe cleaner be good enough? Should I take the bolt apart and clean the firing pin?
