Unfortunately, zero. Has already been to the RCMP lab and classified as Prohibited as a Sig 550 variant. Was very disappointed to hear about it, but that was a couple years ago during the Swiss Arms debacle the RCMP had...

I looked at the FAMAE SG542 but it's the SG51 SAPR that I really want

We have them in 223. The 308 was determined to be prohibited. It's convoluted the classic green is a variant of the 540 so not prohib. The sapr is a variant of the 550 so prohib.

It's a great rifle .

The sapr if sold in Canada would be $5000 plus. The famae is 85-90% of what the sapr is for half the price. Fit and finish is not as beautiful. Materials are nearly as good as the Swiss.....Much better than anything made in China.

Our gun laws make no sense. The sapr and famae are functionally identical.
