Shadow 2 Orange worth it?

They’re on sale at G4C … are they worth it over the Shadow 2? I know they’re supposed to be a custom fit version but the shadow 2 is pretty nice to begin with. Aside from the cool collector aspect of it… is it $800-1000 worth better?

they have standard shadow 2 in stock too. Better price than the $4700 guy on the EE lmfao

If I get the shadow 2 orange I’ll have to sell my P226 Legion. So has to be the right choice.
 
I had the same dilemma after I sold all my guns to downsize to one or 2 CZ’s. I don’t compete. Everything was still available at the time and I narrowed it down to a DA Shadow 2 or S2O rather than a SAO TS. Ended up with a Shadow 2 optic ready and did a Cajun Pro Kit plus the Cajun barrel bushing. All in a bit less the price of a S2O but with the benefit of the optic ready, a great trigger with no creep, 6 1/2 lb DA and 2 3/4 lb SA pull with the 11.5 lb hammer/main spring. If your not into doing any upgrades than the S2O out of the box would be my pick.

On the other hand if you really like the Sig and might regret selling it and never being able to get one again then get the regular Shadow 2 and keep the Sig. You can always upgrade the S2 part by part later if you want to. CZ parts availability in Canada and from Europe is great.

Well I caved and bought it. Going to be a tough coin to toss in September. Probably do a best of 3... or ro-sham-bo. LOL along with the other 4 I made appear out of thin air that I'll have to swap down to 2.

Orange grips for the regular Shadow 2 are not available. Searched everywhere. Do you know where to find OEM version? And the orange magazine base plates?

I already have lots of magazines, but need the orange base plates.

But similarly to the OP, now have to sell my almost-new Sig P320 X5 Legion.

But similarly to the OP, I just purchased a Shadow 2 Orange yesterday myself, and will now have to sell my almost-new Sig P320 X5 Legion to justify this new ORANGE.

have 2 sets of Lok grips. Great to deal with. FYI they will make your grips ‘tall on top’ like the factory ones are rather than cut off a bit farther down on stock Loki’s. You just have to request that in the order notes.

Nice tip, I'll definitely be looking at an order down the road. After buying the Orange and the .22 Kadet kit I'm pretty stretched LOL.
