CGW claims you need this with their hammer springs? ( I have the CGW 11.5 and 13 springs ) Is it really needed? Does CGW ship to Canada yet? I am using CCI primers mostly, but have Federals too. The only reason I have not put them in so far is I shoot the Kadet kit a fair bit and need the heavy hammer spring.
Thanks in advance

My Steel Challenge gun is setup with a factory firing pin spring and an 8.5lb CGW hammer spring. No issues with CCI or Federal. My match gun is a factory CZ 11lb mainspring and regular firing pin spring, I use CCI, Winchester and Federal at matches and Dominion for practice with zero issues. The only time I run into trouble is with S&B, but that's even with a 13lb hammer spring.

Thank Slavex, I installed a CGW 11.5 hammer spring, CGW 11 pound recoil spring, s.s. guide rod with buffer. ( on the fence with this one kinda, sorta lol )
I also ordered, a reduced Rami firing pin spring.
Spare trigger return spring. (still looking for a replacement pin, looks like only CZ Custom)
Spare ploymer guide rod.
Extended firing pin.
A new stainless mag brake, as I bent mine before but it is working just fine still and it's nice to have some spare parts around.

The trigger is much softer already, although I won't be able to shoot the Kadet the way it is now but no big deal, as I need to start practicing IPSC type stuff anyhow. Here is a picture of it, I also put my VZ's back on to give them another try...........

Photobucket is not being friendly grrrrrr

Hopefully it's the CZUB stainless guide rod, Angus's don't work quite the same with the buffers. I run buffers in all my CZ's except the one converted to 22 with the Kadet kit. It also has a 15lb main spring. When you get the stainless mag brake, check to see if the pin goes through it easy, if not, open it up with a taper punch or something. I've seen a lot of tight ones, and guys bend their pin trying to drive it through. It should just fall in. Spare trigger pin, see if you can get the Cajun ones of those, genius idea and they work quite well.

I think it's a CZ custom s.s. rod, with buffers from Dlask. Not sure where to get a Cajun pin from yet. Thanks for the tip on the mag brake, I usually never force anything on a firearm though.

Dlasks buffers (at least last time I looked) are the CZUB ones, and they are awesome. They will work with Angus's guide rod, but expect them to wear out a bit quicker as they can move around a bit more on his guide rod. If someone is stocking CGW springs, they should have trigger pins. I might even have one of those in my bag, I'll take a look tomorrow (remind me).
