Shaving a Lyman 310 44 spl crimping die to do 44 Russian

Anyone here ever done it? I've an oddball that uses 44 Russian brass.
Don't plan on reloading more than a handfull or two at any given time. 310 would be marvelous for ( BP...fill the case) it. But the crimping die will need shortening.
310 dies are sort of '1 trick ponies' anymore. Be nice to be put them to work for this one though.

I can't see why it can't be done. I use my 310 stuff for many odd balls.
