Anyone here have any experience with Shaw rifles Before I get flack about them being nothing more than Savage actions with Shaw barrels attached, I am aware that they start with Savage actions. It is my understanding that they do considerable work on the actions to ensure a high quality end product.The reason I am asking is that they currently have a sale ongoing with 10% off, but before I obligate money to buy one I would like to have some recommendations from folks I trust. Thanks in advance.

Never heard of them until now, thanks for mentioning them. I really like the lines and color of the mark X nutmeg stock. Looks like their fit and finish is very high.
They're not priced too high either in the US, but that said, I'd personally choose a different action. The clunky savage action looks funny mated to the mark X. Little better on the heavy barrel version.

Looks ok to me if you like Savage actions, which are kind of long. Prices seem to start at $800US and up to $2000US depending on features, all custom orders, 6-10 months turn around.
I have one Shaw barrel in 9.3x62, mated to a K98 action, it shoots pretty good.
