Shell deflector for a semi auto ??

I want to try out skeet shooting at my local club. All I have currently is a Baikal MP-153 semi auto shotgun. It my waterfowl gun, but I just wanted to try out skeet with it first to see if I am going to get into the sport and invest in a Browning or Beretta O/U.

Anyways, I don't want to launch empty shells at the guy to my right if there is a way I can deflect them or catch them. I read elsewhere that there are shell deflectors/collectors on the market, but I have'nt scene any for sale anywere. Does anyone know if I can buy something for my shotgun that would catch the shells or atleast deflect them ?

If not, is there any way that I can do anything to my shotgun so the empty shells eject at a different direction ?
 
If it is skeet you wish to try, you do not have a problem. There should be no shooters to your right. They should all be behind you. If you shoot trap there will be a shooter to your right. I think that the majority of shooters will not mind, but a shell catcher will work and allow you to pick and pocket your shells, but it only works for singles. If you are stuck for a shell catcher a thick 2 inch elastic band will work. With your action open, place it around the receiver about an inch from the forward part of the ejection port. You will have to experiment to get the best spot. When you load and close the action the elastic will be pushed forward by the action handle. When fired the empty hull will be stopped. This one work only for singles. When you shoot doubles you will have to shoot with a bunch of good guys, remove your shell catcher and let em fly.

Thanks guys. I will give the elastic thing a try if I do trap. If I really get into it the I will buy one of those shell catchers.
