Shell deflector vz 58

I want to put a scope on my csa vz58. The only rail I found that acts as shell deflector is the Kodiak rail system. Are they as good as the cz made ones at installing and holding zero? Or is there a shell deflector out there that can be used with a side mount base? Worst case scenario would it be better to get a medal hand rail and get a scout scope? Thanks for any advice

I just made a long winded reply to a similar thread at the top. I dont know if there are off the shelf deflectors that are any good.
My personal solution was to use a prism scope that doesnt extend past the dustcover

Thanks, yeah I'm going to go with a red dot sight. Seems way easier.
