Shiiping to Rural P.O. Box

I live in a small town, where we have po boxes aswell. Just had some shipped but I do have a street address. Not sure how rural you are but it may be worth calling the shipping company and asking. Also most of them have a depot so worst case you will have to drive and pick it up your self.

I grew up in rural Southern Alberta. Whenever we had something shipped it would come into the local depot and they would give us a call to let us know it came in. In the rare case that didn't work we knew the folks in the office at the bulk fuel station well, so we would arrange for the items to be shipped to their office and we would stop in when we were in town. I never tried ammo that way though.

yes, just give them you Rural road/township road, and the number off your little blue sign, canpar will deliver to your door, (with rural they will leave if your not there)

None of the couriers I've ever dealt with will ship to a rural address. It's a shame if you ask me....paying so much for shipping and then ending up having to drive miles to pick your shipment up. I'll never buy ammo again if it has to be shipped. I had a gong show with my last ammo purchase. My instructions were to drop it off at a local business (8 miles away) who deals with Purolator and DHL. My ammo shipment still ended up at their depot 35 miles away from me after traveling between Lloydminster and Edmonton 3 times because they're too ignorant enough to look up my small local town on a map and follow directions from that point. My advice, drive into Edmonton or Calgary, pay a little more, and take it home hassle free.

BTW, in this case my ammo wasn't purchased through CanadaAmmo so I'm not sure what they do for shipping....

Red Deer isnt bad for pricing as well

I have this issue all the time. I live on an acreage, 6 miles outside of a town of 450 people. Couriers will not deliver to my door. Anything that comes through CP I get at the local post office. I just talked really nice to one of the local business owners (one of the perks of a small town is that you know them) and when I have to use a courier, I use their address in town. Courier drops off at the store, they give me a call, and I stop in and pick it up.

Don't know if you have something like this as an option, but this is what I set up, and it has been working great so far.
