I am excited to announce the first CFB Shilo Long Range steel challenge in Shilo MB. presented by the brand new CFB Shilo Gun Club! This will be a One Day PRS Rules centre fire long range steel match with the Friday for zeroing and match prep. The match will be held on the Saturday March 30th 2019. we will run zeroing and match prep all day Friday with 1 Mile competition Friday evening with 50/50 prize for the winner the other half going to raise money for the club. followed by A match Saturday of 10 stages with target engagement from 10 yards to 1100 yards.

This course of fire will be for all levels of shooters including beginners. Due to possible colder and adverse conditions we will keep stage times generous and will be fun and challenging for all experience levels. This will be a squad assisted ROed match. So if you have experienced at ROing and want to be a squad leader let us know.

Cost for the Match will be tiered $30 for club members $55 for CF and veterans, $60 for Law enforcement types and $65 for civilians. The best part is the costs include club membership for the year if you aren’t already a member! If you only want to shoot the match the cost is $60 all proceeds go to help the club.

I am pleased to announce that Mystic Precision Inc is also a sponsor for this match!
They are donating prizes for the competitors as well as hooking us up with some target flashers for the really long distance targets.
 
Will there be time to get a DOPE for the various distances or not? I ask because I am rebarreling over the winter, and this match is early in the season for me at these distances, and I will have no information past 200yards.
 
The Day before the match starts I will have a zeroing target set up as well as a target at distance that you can confirm your ballistic data

Any good links to better explain what PRS is all about? Rules, scoring, equipment etc? Interested but no idea what I’d be getting into. Thanks.
