Love the gun, but can't hit with it to save my life... LOP seems good, but when I shoulder it, the drop is all wrong-I'm looking down on the rib. I've seen shim kits for other guns that mount between the stock and receiver, but the mating surfaces on the Lanber are not flat. Would shimming the butt plate help? Any ideas are appreciated.

If you're looking down on the rib, it sounds like the comb is too high. If you can find another shotgun that fits you, take its' measurements and calculate how much you might have to take off. If it seems doable, proceed slowly, testing as you go.

Cheers,
Bob

The pitch might be wrong. If you have a shotgun that shoots well for you, take it and the Lanber and set both butt down on the floor. If the barrels are pointing in different directions then changing the pitch may be needed.

Pitch spacers are available from Brownells and are fairly easy to install.
