Hi All:

I've searched carefully through the forums for names of companies that will ship ammunition. Even ones mentioned as being "ammo friendly" are telling me they can't/won't/don't.

Anyone got other suggestions?

It's being sent from Saskatoon from an individual to another individual.

Thanks!

If you follow all Transportation of Dangerous Goods requirements many companies will transport it for you.

Puralator is one that I know for sure as I contacted them to ship some ammo to the IPSC nationals.

Toxic: Thanks! I did in fact try purolator, and they don't, believe it or not, know what the paperwork requirements are :(

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

There are no paperwork requirements other than to declare the goods on the waybill.

Actually even if you are shipping them as a limited quantitity you still have to have the package appropriately labelled with the shipping name and Product Identification Number. These also have to show up on the waybill. If you know of some type of exemption please enlighten me. We have shipped ammo several times and always done it as a "fully" regulated Dangerous Goods shipment.

We just declare it on the waybill, which prints as a sticker for the box, thus marking the box. if you ship by truck you need both, but I assume the poster is not shipping a truck shipment.
