Shipping an M92FS slide to the US for gunsmithing - looking for advice

Casey fired back a response that he can do the install.

So in theory, all I have to do now is source the sights, order, receive and ship with my slide.

ETA: done deal

Trijicon Bright & Tough Night Sight set for Beretta 92/96A1

$109.00 plus shipping, and the sights should land in two weeks.

Greg,

The front sight would have to be drilled and the module removed from the
front sight you are buying will need to be put into the drilled hole.

Price is $90.00 or less and turnaround time would be about 1 week unless of
course I am away. Just contact me when you have the sights and are about to
ship the slide.

Thanks

Casey

I didn't know opticsplanet ships tritium sights to Canada!! I always thought it was controlled by ITAR? But hey, if it's possible, I'm buying two sets for my USP Tacticals!

I thought Trijicon couldn't exported? Didn't someone try to order Trijicon sights from Brownells and was refused? I'll have to look up the most current ITAR registered OEMs again.

Well, we'll see if they ship it or not. They normally tag ITAR restricted items right on the page itself.

But considering a board sponsor vendor sells a load of Trijicon, I'd guess that you're mistaken.

Brownells will refuse to ship any order with gun parts totaling over $100.00. I've heard various positions on that. The one I go with is that it is a conservative practice that allows them to avoid export related problems with rapidly changing interpretations (often day to day) by Federal agencies.

This is the same Brownells that successfully delivered my Thorntail mount that no one else will export yesterday. (Came with its very own Canadian export only, non-transferable end user notification)

Can't and won't seem to be two very different things right now.

Good stuff. I ordered a set of Trijicons for my Glock last week from Wolverine at $122 plus shipping but I bought a bunch of other stuff too to make it worthwhile. P&D were sold out of them when I ordered my Glock. How much was shipping from Opticsplanet if your don't mind me asking.
