Has anyone had luck shipping powder within Canada? Looking to ship 14lbs H50BMG and every currier I talk to has told me they won’t do it.

Anything would help!

UPS won't do it?

When/if a carrier finally accepts the shipment be prepared for the enormous costs associated with dangerous goods shipping.

A can of smokeless powder is no more dangerous than the cardboard box it will be packaged in. IF the shipping container is on fire, then they have bigger problems than the contents of a 1lb can of gunpowder. Some of the rules in this country are downright stupid.

A shot in the dark here.... will your LGS ship it for you for an additional fee? It's free to ask and the worst case is they refuse.

The shipping itself isn't all that expensive (for 2024). It's the Dangerous Goods and Hazmat fees etc. I know that Purolator will ship it for a not too bad price, but you need to be registered with them as a business or else they won't ship Dangerous Goods.

If you know someone with a commercial account with one of these couriers (UPS, Purolator, etc.) maybe you could ask them if they'll ship it for you at their cost.
