Hello:
I own a CZ 75 BD and I am contemplating sending the slide to a company called Trijicon in the U.S. for them to install their night sites. My old eyes have a hard time seeing the factory installed green dots and the indoor range that I shoot at is not the best for lighting. I have a few questions.
1. Can I run into Customs problems shipping my slide to the U.S. (The slide contains the registered serial number of the gun, so I could prove ownership of it if I ever had to)?
2. Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with Trijicon sights?
3. Assuming that the existing sights are correctly aligned on my gun at present; what is the likelihood of Trijicon changing my point of aim / point of impact on my gun? Should I expect the gun to shoot the same way after I have the sights installed or will I need to take the gun to a gunsmith to have the sights drifted?
Thank you for any assistance that you can provide me with any of the above questions.
