Went out shooting this afternoon to finish some load development for my tikka tactical in .308.
This rifle has always been a good shooter and had a load for it using rl 15, but I just recently changed to varget. Anyways I was starting to do accuracy tests on some loads and started to adjust the parallax on my shirstone 6-24x-58mm and when I put it 300 it was blurry. I adjusted it until it was clear and found that it was clearest when it was maxed out.
The parallax adjustment was always spot on with the dial markings before but now they are off.
Here are my questions.
Do you think this will affect accuracy if I just adjust parallax where it is clearest?
Also does anybody know who would repair shirstone optics. Did a quick google search and came up with nothing.
This scope has been great and have had no issues till now. It's been on my .308 since I bought it in 2006.
Any help would be really appreciated.
