Does anyone have any experience with the Shooter Ready Mil Dot program??

I would very much like to learn how to properly use scope in order to hopefully one day come out and shoot. The problem is, despite reading several articles on how to range, it appears I need significantly more assistance as my calculations seem to be way off. I would have been better off shooting with both eyes closed after spinning in circles for 2 minutes!!

I tried the online version a couple times, thats how I started. I knew nothing about mil-dot calculations, and now I think I could do it in the field.

Granted I only tried the online version once for about 20 min but what ever I was doing wrong I kept repeating it. I finally figured why keep banging you head against the wall.

The software includes an excellent tutorial on using the mildots. It is also useful to print off drop tables for the different environmental conditions. I print mine off in 5 yard incriments. It's much nicer to shoot at the computer when the temperature is -80.

I bought it. It is good practice for using mildots. Unless you are a genius you need a calculator handy in order to hit. I would have liked to have had the mildot master to practice using that. Unfortunately I lost the program.

The program also teaches how to compensate for wind.
