I recently refurbished a .22 Lee Enfield (No2Mk4) so that my sons could get acquainted with the Lee Enfield ####-on-closing bolt, the double-pull trigger, the sights...

Here is my youngest getting decent results at 100 yards. Yes, he's on a shooting bench, but I'm still happy with his results! :)

Excellent! I think the length of pull may be a bit long for him, but aslong as he's having fun, that's all that matters!

Nice to not see any "recoil flinch" in him yet either.

Thanks guys.

Imagius, thanks for the tip. I think I have a bantam butt stock somewhere, it'd be indeed a good idea to swap next time we go shooting !

Gaff, this is at the Danford Lake range, near Kazabazua, QC.

I have the very same Lee. Even thou the trigger on mine has a lot of play and the rear sight a bit of wiggle, it's still my favorite. By the way, any one know how to take the side to side play out of the rear sight?

I was really only joking about the lop :D Didn't expect an enfield to fit a 10 yr old, but if you've got the stock to put on it, it will probably help his grouping a bit (and, by extension, his enthusiasm).

Nice gun, I like those Enfield trainers, are they hard to come by? Glad to see the younger ones getting into the sport as well. I just bought a Cooey 82 in anticipation of the Girl's little boy getting out. Well, at least that's why I tell myself I bought it!
