Referring to the stock style where the trigger group is forward of the action. Like the FAMAS from France, Steyr SUG, or like the stock kits you used to be able to buy for the Ruger 10/22 or Mini 14/30.
Back to the matter at hand. I guess slugs will swage down to poke their noses out of a full choke, but I wouldn't do it. I get images of Elmer Fudd and the peeled back barrel.
