Shooting AR platform rifles left handed

Speaking as a full-time left-handed human, I have only two issues with right side ejection on an AR:

1. Brass hitting/slightly burning my right arm when I'm using the isoceles grip;
2. Powder residue hitting my face (especially true on FA).

Both problems are fixed by wearing 1) long sleeved shirts and 2) eye protection. As many have posted, I don't recall brass ever hitting my head while firing an AR, however that issue is very true for other rifles/pistols. As I recall, some of my guns are notorious for this and I consequently use my hoodie as a brass catcher.

Ok guys, thanks for the feedback. I am now on the hunt for an AR. Just gotta move my m14 out first. Or maybe the AR first, if I can without the wife noticing!!!

No sweat. Nothing wrong with the norc if you can get a great deal on one.

I might sell off my norc lower if I buy an Armalite that I'm looking at, but only because I don't see much point in collecting lowers, especially if one customizes them. I'll keep my upper, though. It's been dead reliable.
