Good day all, It's a good thing this is a newbie forum because I've got some total n00b questions for you. So please be gentle, lol.
Essentially what I'd like to be able to do is go to a shooting range and be able to shoot targets. That's really it, I don't want a gun to have in my home or to carry one around with me. I don't hunt so I wouldn't need one for that either.
Is this possible in Canada? Do shooting ranges allow you to rent guns? The only way I'd really want to own one is if the range didn't have the kind I want. The gun I'm interested in specifically is an M1 Garand as I'm interested in WWII weapons, but of course I'd be willing to start small and work up to that.
Also, what would be entailed as far as legality goes, is there some sort of range only licence you can obtain or would I have to go through the same process as if I wanted to own a gun.
Thanks for your time.
