What size bag do you all use for shooting. Looking to get in to Rimfire precision shooting

Please post pic and measurement. I will attempt a DYI with my wife sewing machine

The bag you use will depend on the what the stage is asking you to do. For me, I've made my own bags based on existing designs, and used their dimensions (which are publicly available online). Out of the 6-7 my wife made, I settled on 3 that serve different purposes, but may all be used during a stage.

Tab Gear Str8 Laced - This is a rectangular rear bag with a heavy plastic bead fill (from Michaels).
Armageddon OG Gamechanger - Use this on barricades to provide a flat shooting surface to balance the rifle on. Again, used 6lbs of heavy plastic beads from Michaels)
Wiebad Pump Pillow - Used as a space filler between elbows, knees, etc... filled with stryofoam beads for a bean bag chair. super lightweight.

Check out youtube for videos of the last two to give you a better idea of how they work. If you're feeling especially "gamey"....get a tripod and a tac-table!

I'm down to using two gamechangers: the full size OG (which I use almost exclusively as a rear bag - like a rabbit ear bag) and the heavy pint size gamechanger. Solo Sac also works as well as the pint size in most situations.

There are bag size restrictions for Production class in CRPS, so you if you are shooting those matches check with them on what's allowed.

These days I use one or two bags.........JSA large bag or JSA RS pillow bag. For barricades I mostly use a lace on JSA padded barricade fore end rest.

For additional support in certain positions I will use my pack vs carrying one of the large pump pillow type bags around......I am finding carrying less is better.........

I have made a collection of various size bag and keep grabbing the same one most of time.

It’s 4 inch by 6 inch by 1.5 inch. I have a pump pillow, a game changer style one and I guess they are for special shoot with I have yet to use.
