What is involved in a border crossing from US/Canada or Canada/US?
And, Is it worth the effort?

Are there any clubs in the Great Lakes Regio that shoot International Skeet?

We have only one in Ohio that really makes the effort in Wilmington, Ohio.

Is travel to Ohio from Canada made too difficult?

Thanks

takes a little work but it is routine. Lots of Shooters compete in the winter when the rest of us are here in the frozen north working. Of course if we worked as hard, smart, long, etc, we could travel with them.

if you are not an invited competitor, you might do well to get a cheap hunting license. It helps.

Very little work actually. Download/Fill out a batfe form6NIA application. Buy and dowload/print off a US hunting lic from any state.. I use Alaska.
Fax it all to the batfe and in short order your permit will arrive in your mail box.

It is actually easier for an American to bring a long gun to Canada than vice versa. What you need to know can be found at this link.

As for International Skeet there isn't that much unfortunately. Toronto International Trap and Skeet and Uxbridge have International lay-outs although I can't say how often they are used.
