I am planning a US trip this summer. Will there be a problem with customs from both sides if I buy Holster, Pouches, Belt and other accessories? No firearm parts and ammo involved. We will be flying out of YYZ to the wild wild west, so there will be airport scan involved. Any recommendation for a UNIVERSAL FIT Holster that will fit a CZ 85 Combat and a Shadow?

What about magazines? Will this be a problem getting out of US and into Canada?

Magazines are controlled under ITAR so you cannot bring them back.

Here is the text from an e-mail I got from DOS just a few minutes ago on this sort of question (I had asked for clarification on rifle magazines but handgun magazines are treated the same without a doubt) - I've removed the name of the individual since I don't have his explicit permission to pass it on. If you want to ask your own specific question, write to "DDTCResponseTeam@state.gov":

The Response Team's services are not a substitute or replacement for the advisory opinion, general correspondence, and commodity jurisdiction processes delineated in the ITAR, which should be used to obtain authoritative guidance on export control issues, and do not in any way relieve exporters from their responsibilities to comply fully with the law and regulations.[/FONT]
