Looking for an economical but decent pair of non-prescription shooting glasses for trap, skeet and clays. Pair I presently have seem to obstruct and or distort vision around the bridge of my nose. Recommendations?

next question... Where to buy these reccomended brands at these prices..? I am sick of crappy safety glasses fogging up or blocking my view with thick uncomfortable frames.

I can't beat 23 out of 25 clays with these.. they are hampering my personal best...lol :) Just when I get close, the fog from my nervous perspiration and cheap glasses screws me..

Use a tiny bit of dish soap to clean your glasses. That takes care of the fogging.

No more excuses.

Hmmm, there might be something to this glasses thing. I have been wearing normal plastic sunglasses, but they do make it difficult to see the high house on spot 2 in skeet.

It was interesting watching the Olympic Skeet finals. Mens champ was using Pilla Puma. But, at least two of the 12 finalists were wearing no eye protection - that was eye opening.

There are many glasses to choose from and even more colors to go with them. You can buy higher end glasses that have interchangeable lenses too. This way sunny, cloudy and all other conditions can be accommodated for with a different style lens. I think you can get them for aprox 60 bucks but then u have to add all the lenses too. I only use yellow for dark cloudy days and charcoal for the bright days.

The cheaper but good alternative.

Uvex Genissis safety glasses have a wide range of interchangeable lenses and you can put non-safety prescription inserts behind them. Under ten bucks, lots of choices, no fog or distortion issues from users. Available at Acklands and lots of other places.
