I took my new Model 7000 out and paced off 25 yards. I was using some Federal Bulk Pack HP ammo and was shooting over the roof of my car. It was a little cool and windy (left ot right) that day, so I was not doing my best. These are 10 shot groups and the square is 1.5 inch. With some decent ammo and a bench, I think this little gun may show some promise. I wasn't taking my time either (due to it being cold), so I probably could have done better.

If you take the flyers out of the center and bottom right groups, they DO show some promise.

IMHO, bulk pack ammo might be good for hunting accuracy, for target accuracy, I would suggest some 50/box for starters. As a matter of fact, try everything you can get your hands on.

I haven't been keeping up with your 7000 story. What kind of scope?

I picked up a Bushnell Banner 4-12x40AO scope (used here on CGN) for it. Nice scope. I know this little gun has a lot of potential. I was not dressed right for the weather and had 'piss shivers' while I was shooting. I ended up just shooting the groups pretty much as fast as I could. I was also standing while shooting which definitely effects my accuracy.

You are in for a pleasent surprise, the 7000 will shoot much better groups then those.
Mine loved the Winchester Dynapoint ammo that Walmart used to carry.
