Shooting Ranges around Barrie

Hi guys,

Who knows where to go shooting not far from Barrie? I know two fire ranges http://www.barriegunclub.org/ and http://www.bdhacc.com/ but they not allow to shoot there if you are not a member and on the same time they not accept any new members... looking something like a day pass or membership.

What else, except hunting license and ofah membership I need to go for rabbit hunting in Simcoe area?

As far as I know there are no gunclubs in the barrie area that allow walk ins or day passes. Your best bet is to get on the waiting list for one of the clubs mentioned.

seems like... or just go hunting, do I need anything else except hunting license/small game tag and ofah membership to go Simcoe forest with a gun?

Simcoe owns many tracts of forest. Google to see where they are. I found this stating which tracts hunting is not allowed on. I would assume targets not allowed as well.

The club has no day passes. Join to shoot or purchase acreage, make friends with someone with acreage that is legal/safe to shoot on. That's our options in this area. Becoming more populated everyday.
