Shooting Ranges in the GTA

Go to Silverdale, you'll get raped at target sports, they'll charge you $40 per person just to walk in + another $40 just to shoot a few rounds downrange...by the time you leave your wallet will be $300 lighter

I went to target sports with my dad. I was deeply disappointed with the guys manning the front desk. I won't name names but suffice it to say they should not be in a customer facing position.

The RO we dealt with on the other hand was awesome. Super guy, very respectful to my dad.

Silverdale is not really in the GTA though. It is close to St Catherines and Niagara Falls. If you want to try out guns at Silverdale, you have to make an appointment, and the last I heard, there is a long wait.

True, that's why I didn't recommend Silverdale to him. But good to know he went there and had a blast.

Sorry to necro-post here, but has anyone from the GTA been to a range in Buffalo? Any experiences to relate?

Looks like there is a need for a reasonably priced shooting range nearby the GTA since I can find no mention of one within an hour's drive and that won't ream you out as far as price goes. Any business people reading this forum? There is a need and I'm sure LOTS of people (even just on this forum) would come.

I am looking for a club to join myself.
I've never been to Silverdale and I do hear good things but crowded is also something I hear/read about a lot.
TSC is crowded and expensive and many of them are quite rude (I guess they can get away with that since they are so close to TO and nothing else is available nearby ... ahem ... any business people reading this? money to be made perhaps? I don't know anything about business really but one thing I've observed over the years, if lots of people are thinking about a certain product, the one who supplies that product generally becomes VERY rich ... I dunno ... perhaps I'm wrong.
