I have been reading a lot on the forum lately about the Timmy and Geissele drop in triggers for the Tavor but I have yet to read of anyone using the Shooting sight trigger.

Just curious if any nutters are using it and what there impressions of it are.
I am looking to upgrade my trigger and from the little I have found on these triggers they sound like a better option then either Timmys or the Geissely

Thanks

Lol

Shooting sight sells to Canada through their websight.
What would be the issue with ordering directly from them?

Sorry if this is a newb question but I have not ordered anything gun related from the US in quite a while.

I have the Tav-D aluminum model (only difference is the housing from the delrin model) and also the Geissele Super Sabra. They both feel fairly similar. The takeup feels the same but the Geissele has the lower release weight (about 4.5lbs vs 5.5lbs). Think SSA vs SSA-E. I'm no engineer but I read that the Tav-D uses a more costly construction method. I think the Geissele looks nicer (strictly due to the colour scheme), but I actually prefer the Tav-D because of the higher release weight (like I prefer the SSA over the SSA-E). That's neither here nor there, just an opinion. Reality wise...get what's easiest to acquire. You won't be disappointed in either.

Shooting Sight hasn't imported a single Tav-D to Canada yet through their website. The very few currently floating around are most likely from private sales imported through a Canadian FFL. I ordered mine last week, and they're filing out export forms with customs, so they're going to be using my forms as a template for future Canadian purchases to streamline the process.

mine cost me 362$ canadian all together.
I have a 3 lbs 14 oz pull ( 10 pull average Lynman digital )

Art needs to do more than customs forms. he needs to get export permits. I tried this 3 months ago with him. I gave up and found a used one...

I still felt safer using a FFL to import it.didnt want to loose out on 250$
so I paid Prophet 50$ to do it. Cbsa are morons and might see a trigger pack and seize it.
