i was wondering if my SxS could shoot slugs without cuting the bbr.
it is a ERA 12 ga 2 3/4" with 30" bbr its full and emproved choke...
ive always herd that if your gun is choked and you shoot a slug it could birst the bbr...

Foster type, "rifled" slugs will not harm your barrels, even the one with full choke. The full choke barrel will not shoot accurately, however. A trip to the range to determine point of impact and useable (minute of deer) range is required.

All slugs are made to pass safely through a full choke... every shottie is different and your full choke may shoot better than the I/C. Your barrels will likely print at different POA's though... just shoot it and figure it out.
