Did anyone check out the shooting times "Ultimate" guide to Long Range Rifles??

just flipped through it today, some interesting articles.
nice to see an issue with more precision shooting type articles.. so keep an eye out for it if you dont have one yet!
 
shooting times hypes rifles in direct proportion to the amount of advertising the manufacturer purchases. Precision shooting, or the Varmint Hunter are much better. Though, to be fair, you won't find either of those on too many store racks
 
Little off topic but I am not willing to pay double for a Precision Shooting subscription just because I have a Canadian address... good mag, but jeebas!

Is this a new magazine ? I checked some local magazine stands and nadda.
 
I thought it was alright, better than the usual shooting times issues. lots of eye candy LR rifles and some good articles. as with any "ultimate guide to (insert product here)" you know its going to be alot of advertising, but so is any magazine really
