I don't shoot alot of 22lr during manitoba winters, it is just not relaxing loading small 22 cartridges with cold hands,but one thing I have found is that the anschutz 1761 bolt shines in the real cold.i like the vudoo but it's bolt is not on par with the 1761 in the deep cold.goin back home next year and it will be a fine Ptarmigan gun.i like semi for following a flock of Ptarmigan but it can be a hassle with the gauntlets on.the 1761 is the best cold weather bolt I have had on a 22lr.
