Short 10/22 Barrel availability

Hey guys,

Looking to make a shorty 10/22 in a Hogue Tan stock, but the one thing I can't seem to find is blued short barrels.

I missed out on TacShot's ER Shaws blued 11.5" threaded barrels, and they've got the stainless ones on clearout, but I'm not too keen on the stainless.

Has anyone got any leads on short (11.5"-12.5") blued 10/22 barrels? Bull or otherwise. Doesn't need to be threaded, just short.

Or, does anyone know of any US manufacturers that would ship to Canada?

Bary at Bits and Pieces will make you one to length.I had one done in Bull barel but found it was to heavy for my liking.

Yeah, the 8.5" barrel is a touch short for what I'm looking for. I had a look at the EVO Stock system, and while it is quite appealing, I don't have the money to turn a 10/22 into another AR or 870. CTR's are friggen' expensive, and there's no reason to use anything else, really. I'll stay light and easy for this build, I think.

One thing about the 8.5" barrel is that it comes threaded so if you need to lengthen it you could just screw something on over the muzzle like a break or fake can.
 
I have an HR shaw 11.5 that I would considering a trade on for a stainless HR Shaw 11.5 inch(same brl to be clear I don't want a stock brl please...)

Cool. I'm making the same thing!! But I bought the shaw 6 months ago cause you never know when they will run out. ;) Not sure why another importer hasn't brought more in. My tan hogue is in the mail from hawks.. Good luck on your build.
 
Another member graciously contacted me and offered me his barrel - I've got a 10.5" bull on the way now.

I've also got a couple of parts from Hawk Arms coming in too, primarily a tan Hogue stock.

Why doesn't someone just ask Dlask to make some short 10/22 barrels? Probably faster and easier than getting one from the US across the border. Imagine the cost wouldn't be all that different when all is said and done.
 
I can offer Shilen Match barrels in both CM and SS. Will confirm on their min length but I know they make 16" barrels.

A bit pricey vs the Shaw pipes but should shoot very well.
