I'm curious to hear anyones experience with running a short cartridge like 308 or 6.5cm in a long action. I am trying to understand the advantages to consider outside of things like ability to rebarrel in a LA chambering should I want to in the future and having more magazine length to work with for seating bullets past SA COAL. Im also interested in understanding any disadvantages that go along with such a setup or why you wouldn't recommend this route.
