Short AR: usefull ?

Who's punching body armour ??? And if you were in a war the opposing force would not be wearing level 2 armour they would be wearing armour that would stop 223 and 7.62 but on paper and on regular targets non armoured 9mm is better

LE have found a lot of criminal elements running soft body armor these days, however very few have plates...

No soft armor will stopp 5.56mm, most will stop 9mm JHP and FMJ.

9mm is good however for SD guns as you can take out lights or dogs with no sonic crack.

Of course Short ARs are useful. I distinctly recall years ago 'merican Marines in Pendleton having to adopt the most god awful tactical uses with their 20' and 16 inch AR's when doing houseclearing. I think Kevin B was there for that one.
So much easier being able to sweep a room and having your muzzle go where your eyes go.
Besides its cool to have a short .556 in your collection in case of zombie attack.LOL

well for %99 of shooters here that only shoot paper shorties are a great 3 gun/tac Carbine set up, all the tec stuff on frag, wound channels and stuff mean nothing to paper or tac man targets
